The Lady Lights: Ladies in God's Holiness through Serving
The Ladies Sunday School Class meets in the Patio Room at 10:15 on Sundays. They are currently studying 1 and 2 Samuel and always welcome new faces to join them. It is facilitated by Natalie Rivera.
The Ladies "Just As You Are' Bible study will begin on September 20. They will meet every Tuesday at 9:30-11 AM. They will begin their year studying the book of James. This will not be video based so just bring your Bible, notepad and pencil. In January they will begin a DVD study by Beth Moore on David. This study is facilitated by Trish Gabaldon.
We are always looking for new people to facilitate a small group Bible Study or offer a host home. Please contact the church office if you are interested.
Ladies Lunch Bunch will meet on the second Monday of every month. This is a potluck lunch with fellowship and optional game or craft time. All women welcome.
2011-2012 events:
October 29 at 9:00 AM - Annual Silent Auction and Breakfast. We will provide breakfast. Ladies come and bid on the large variety of donated items to support women's ministry and our partner ministries. We are accepting donations of new or like-new items from as small as a pair of earrings to a as large as a piece of furniture... all things accepted.
November 18-19. The Art of Marriage Retreat. See News and Notes Page for details.
January 21 at 11:00 AM - Ladies Annual Luncheon. Hostesses needed to decorate a table with the theme and invite ladies to sit with you. Of course you are welcome too even if you don't want to decorate a table. This is our biggest outreach event of the year and we encourage women from all over our community to come and participate. You do not have to be a church attender to participate. This years theme is... "Masquerade- Who Are You When No One Is Looking?" This will be fun with all the different masks.
February ?? We will have a yardsale on a Friday and Saturday in February
March 2-3 - Wild About Christ Women's Conference. This will be our second annual Women's conference. We are currently in the process of planning and will update as soon as we get all the info together but save the dates now for a Great Time!
April 13-15 Annual Arizona Women's Retreat at Lost Canyon Retreat in Williams, Az. The church office is taking deposits to save a space for you. More info as we get it
May 5 at 11:00 - Annual Mother's Day Tea
